Whenever we go to sleep, we usually use our phones. It’s a regular habit for all of us and with the increase number of social media apps and chatting apps, using smart phones late at night is a lot of fun. But using the phone in a dark room with full brightness setting puts a bad impact on our eyes.

To solve this problem, Urbandroid Team has come up with an Android App known as Twilight. It’s pretty simple to use it.

The App just dims the light of the screen to an appropriate reddish color which puts less strain on the eyes while using the phone in a dark room.

There are many features in this App. The user can increase or decrease the Color temperature of the screen. Even the Intensity and the Screen dimness can be controlled. If the user wants to put this filter till a particular time limit, he can even use the Filter time setting.

The four settings in this are Always, Sun, Alarm and the Custom.

Always keeps the filter for 24 hours. Sun makes the user to set the time, so that filter will work after sunset.

The alarm has a special function. Suppose if the user set an alarm on his phone, but woke up in the middle of the night and wants to see the time. If he switches on his phone, he would get a full bright screen. To avoid this, Alarm is used. It keeps the filter till the alarm not rings. Custom is the user can set the time limit to a particular limit of his own wish.

In the notification bar, the notification for the Twilight App appears. If the user wants to use the filter, he can click the notification and select Resume from the appeared box.

With 4.6 rating in Play store, it has 5 million downloads, till now. For the geeks who loves customizing, this App is a must use.
