WhatsApp New Update

WhatsApp has come up again with another latest update in Play store. The feature has been in great demand as seen by the users. This feature is popularly known as pinning the chats.

Earlier, some of the important chats that we used to keep in our WhatsApp often goes down in the chat list because of the messages from the WhatsApp group. This often makes the user to scroll down and search for the chat to message him or her. In spite of this, the user can also use the search option to search the contact, but that too seems to be quite a lengthy process.

With this recent update in WhatsApp, you can just hold the chat, and select the pin option from the title bar, and then it’s done. Your important chats are placed at the top of the chat list in WhatsApp.

Contacts who are not pinned, if they message, there chat appear at the bottom of the pinned chat, which makes it easy for the user to differentiate between pinned and unpinned chats.

Another point to note here is that, you can pin maximum of three chats at a time. As pining more chats could not fit in a single screen view of the user. This feature is just to mark some of the frequent chats that are important and that the user can have access without even scrolling the menu down.

The latest version of WhatsApp is marked as 2.17.190 in Google Play store.
